The studio
The timeline
Below the canvas is a proper non-linear editor: unified tracks, draggable clips, ripple and roll edits, nested compositions, and audio with real waveforms.
Tracks & clips
Every layer rides a track. Tracks are unified channels — any clip on any track — so you stack, reorder and tint them freely. Drag a clip to move it; drag its edges to trim; grab the seam between two clips to roll the edit.
Editing that feels right
- Snapping magnets clip edges, the playhead, markers and keyframes.
- Push a clip into its neighbor to overwrite/ripple — commit on release, one undo step.
- Link clips (DaVinci-style) so they move, trim and delete together.
- Split with the razor; the split is keyframe-aware and stays continuous across the cut.
Nested compositions
Nest a frame as a clip to build pre-comps. Double-click to drill in; the playhead maps into the nested comp's own time. Speed, loop, ping-pong and reverse all work per clip.
Audio
Audio clips show real decoded waveforms and carry keyframeable gain, fades, a parametric EQ and pitch. Add a procedural waveform or spectrum visualizerthat reacts to any clip's sound, live.
Getting around
Space plays and pauses. Scrub the ruler to move the playhead. Zoom the timeline horizontally and vertically; open the curve panel to edit eased keyframe curves directly.
