Getting started
Quick start
From an empty canvas to a moving, exported clip — in about two minutes.
1. Open the studio
Launch AtomCut on the web or open the desktop app, then choose New project and pick a frame size (or a preset like 1080×1920).
2. Put something on the canvas
Grab a tool from the toolbar and draw. Press T for text, R for a rectangle, O for an ellipse, or P for the pen. Drag media straight onto the canvas to import video, images or audio.
3. Animate it
Move the playhead, change a property (drag the layer, change its color), and AtomCut plants a keyframe. Turn on record mode and any edit you make becomes a keyframe at the playhead — this is how you keyframe anything. See Keyframe anything.
4. Preview
Hit Space to play. Scrub the timeline ruler to move through time; everything updates live.
5. Export
Open export and choose MP4, a PNG sequence, WebM, or a vector format like SVG or Lottie. Full details in Exporting.
